GEORGETOWN -The Alliance for Change (AFC) today announced that it is opened to any partnerships for the upcoming regional and general elections in Guyana.

Latest media reports suggests that the AFC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) will recommend Khemraj Ramjattan as the presidential candidate at the party’s National Conference in October.

This information was sourced to AFC Vice-Chairperson Sheila Holder in a Stabroek News report. Holder also indicated that the NEC would also recumbent that the party’s current leader Raphael Trotman become the prime ministerial candidate.

It was also noted that in order for the decision to take effect the present party leader would have to endorse the NEC recommendations.
